Annual Christmas Letter 2008.
- ****************
Hello and Happy Holidays!
___________
The Year 2008 has had it's ups and down. First off, my mother is still in Anaheim
Healthcare Center. It has been over three years now. We keep hoping and praying for a miraculous recovery, but at the same
time, we are not getting our hopes up to high. Please keep her in your prayers.
The year 2008 has been a very unstable year as far as employment goes. The highlight
in that area was that I obatained a California Commericial (Class B) Driver's License to drive a transit bus. This is a very
important Item to add to my Resume. I wasn't able to land steady employment during the year 2008, and a lot of that was due
to prejudice towards my being 54 years of age, and having Tourette Syndrome. I did learn how to drive a bus, and I am going
to try to get further training through EDD, where I can get endoresements for Air Brakes and driving a School Bus.
The Fall of 2008 began my Second Season Ticket Holder for the Anaheim Arsenal (NBA Development
League). The Anaheim rsenal asked me to sing The National Anthem early in the year of February 20 at a home game at a
Home Game between the Anaheim Arsenal and the Tulsa 66er's. It went very well. This was my third year as a Long Beach Armada
Season Ticket holder, and three was also the magic number as far as the number of times I got to sing the National Anthem
at Armada Home Games.
I now have eleven primary websites on the Internet. This year I spent a lot of time working
on two websites which are named after distant uncles. One is the "Capt. Eugene Cornell Memorial Civil War Showcase (named
after my 3-Great Uncle who was killed at the Battle of Antietam during the Civil War)," and the other is the "Bennett Payne
Baxter Memorial Anaheim/Orange County Showcase (named after my Great Uncle Ben who was a landowwner in Early Anaheim)." If
you would like to visit either of these two sites, all you need to do is Google or Yahoo Search the the website titles.
Well, that is about it from my end. I hope all is well with you, and that you and your families have a
Merry Christmas, and a very Prosperous Year 2008!

Sincerely,
Bill Baxter.
